NOT know the torque ,how to find right motor for your application product ?
For DC gear motors, there are 3 necessary parameters to finalize its performance :
1, Nominal voltage
2, ON load speed or No load speed.
3, Rated torque or Stall torque.
Gear motors output rated the speed at rated load. If wrong torque, the motor will not output your desired speed, and will not work well in your application, even get damaged!
But some customers often come to us and ask for a recommendation without torque data. How do we proceed? Here are our suggestions:
1, If it‘s for a substitute, pls send us one of your current motors as a sample for our reference. Motors will be made strictly per your sample.
2, If it‘s for new product development, pls share us your application info as much as possible, and take video to show us how motors drive the load in your application. Our engineers may help calculate the torque.
3, In case the drive system is too complex to calculate the torque without a prototype, we will recommend you some gearmotors for your try relying on our experience .then work out the REAL torque per your test result to improve the motors.
