It‘s the times for internet, it‘s the times especially for mobile internet, it‘s the time for social media marketing.  In China, you even don‘t need a wallet, no matter where are you going. Just take the phone with you, it‘s enough. You can pay for almost everything via Alipay or Wechat.

Even though Information asymmetry still exists everywhere, it‘s still difficult for a buyer to find an ideal supplier, even a real supplier or manufacturer. There are still a lot of fraudS, and still, some customers are cheated in international trade...

We are in the field of DC motor, thus there is some information we provide, which may help you to tell you how to pick up an outstanding gear motor supplier.

First, DC gear motor, not like a common commodity, it‘s custom-made, therefore few manufacturers will have stock. Therefore sales need motor usage info in your application, to make a full evaluation, then offer you a solution.  Don‘t be annoyed by these questions, which will help you with the project, and may reduce sample times and cost. If sales don‘t care about your usage, you should doubt if they are professional enough.

Second, When you receive samples, check the package details and sample details. Details can reflect the vendor‘s attitude and their concern to the gear motors. For gear motors, if it‘s not packed well, or its package is not standard packing box, you should think over before place this order to this supplier.  The next is the sample, including its appearance, its label, etc.  The last but also important thing is to check its quality, including the voltage, the speed, the torque, the current, the noise, etc.

We ever helped one of our clients souring a gear motors (which we don‘t produce), from a famous gear motor manufacturer in Zhejiang. The delivery time was delayed again and again. Finally, we received the goods, 24V gear motors were all made a 12V version, which I had to return. Once again, delivery time was postponed a few times, after another long time waits, I receive 2nd shipment.  Obvious they reworked these unqualified gear motors but didn‘t clean it before delivery. The gearboxes have burr, and the motor looks dirty. This was really disappointing. 

It would be exhausted to cooperate with such a vendor, you can‘t imagine how they control the quality. Every buyer is eager to have an excellent vendor as a backup. Of course, if you only chase for a low price, this would become impossible. You can have to run a risk for hidden quality problems in the future.
